The new »Stella« is the ideal partner for the enjoyment of acoustic music equally well at low as well as at elevated volume levels. Similar to her „elder Sister“ »Pergolesi« she creates
a spacious sound stage and rich tonal timbre. Just as her predecessors »Bohéme» and »Ravel« she performs with fine musical detail and natural warmth. Strings reverb with silky body, horns and percussions with dynamic and attack. The »Stella« endows double basses with a deep and powerful foundation.

»Stella« reveals her full musical charms in the rendition of sparkling piano runs and excitingly tangible soprano passages. Not just accidentally her name is a reference to the jazz standard »Stella By Starlight«.

The »Stella« has sufficiently high sensitivity to be recommendable for the operation with vacuum tube or class-A transistor amplifiers of noble musical fidelity yet small output power. The symmetric arrangement of the speaker chassis and the intricate Butterworth crossover networks achieve a nearly perfect emission and phase behavior.

The fast silk dome tweeter resolves the finest overtones but always remains naturally decent. The two 120-mm-midrange chassis feature lightweight paper membranes and strong magnet drivers that willingly follow a pianissimo as well as a crescendo. Two 180- mm hard cone woofers oscillate precisely and phase-optimized in the enclosure side walls.

The elaborate frequency crossover network only contains components that are carefully selected „by ear“, such as high-purity copper air-core coils free of microphonic effects, audiophile foil capacitors and solid copper wiring.
